I would not want to be the one to clean those donations. I do not think that I want to be trapped in a small shop with them. I don't want to buy them. Charity is NOT about ME!

Any virus can be mailed. Your "package" will likely be tagged, and you'll find some very unfriendly and unsportsman-like fellows at your bedside during the wee hours, but yes. The particulars of dispensing I won't go into, but all this has been done before. In fact, such things can be done in plain sight and the average person wouldn't bat an eye or suspect anything at all.

The reason for this is simple: We normal folks tend not to think like criminals or terrorists, so we find it hard to imagine all the creative ways of doing evil that these types can devise. "Who would even think of such a thing, much less do it...?" comes to mind here. Most people just can't grasp the extent of evil that drives the criminal mind to do such things, therefore we also tend to project our good intentions on others by default. It's the same thing that causes some numbnuts to stick their hand out to a dog because THEY like dogs, while not realizing that doggo may not give a shit what you like; they just don't want you touching them.
