I was surprised I didn't see a thread about this flick up here...unless of course there is one, which is entirely possible...in which case just ignore me :H

So anyway...just caught this movie last night, and I was very impressed. It's a perfect comedy/drama mix and just beautiful all around, not to mention a killer soundtrack...This is probably the only movie of the last couple years I'm going to go see twice.

    What did everyone else think?

    Peace!

It was a pretty good movie. I don't think it was as good as his other two but it is still worth seeing. The comedy is great. And I love Angelica Houston.

Yeah, it was great. There was a lot of David Bowie in it and I was very pleased to actually hear some Sigur Rós!

Yeah, I just picked up the soundtrack and it's wonderful...all the Bowie songs, and covered Bowie songs are present...plus lots of the other stuff. An excellent background groove...

Yes, it was funny as hell...but it had just enough serious, real emotion in there too. I'm fairly cynical about movies most of the time...I don't really get emotionally involved in the vast majority; but this one had me wrapped up in it deep...I didn't even know what emotions I should have been feeling at the end, but damn near shed a tear nonetheless ;)

As much as I love Bill Murray, I haven't understood the last couple movies he made. A bit too 'film student b movie' if you ask me...

I really enjoyed this movie. Was not Anderson's best effort but I think his funniest. I really liked Ned's character.
