Please give me your HipForum Hipster nominations for THE RAM DASS AWARD: This should be a person dedicated to expanding "spiritual" awareness, devoted to meditative practices, and one who promotes spiritual growth. THE ABBIE HOFFMAN AWARD: This should be a political and social activist, revolutionary in thought, an activist with a sense of humor. THE TIMOTHY LEARY AWARD: This should be someone who is all about operating your mind, advocating a philosophy of individual freedom. THE KEN KESEY AWARD: This should be a Prankster, someone who is serious about independence, but always pushing the envelope through his/her capers. All nominations will be taken into consideration and the winners will be announced on Oct.1, 2005. Note: I will be nominating my own choices as well.
