Sure does seem pointless to start a revolution if it doesn't achieve any good. Unless there's profit in it.

 

The West created communism because they wanted this looming boogeyman that would be used as the jusitifcation for later wars. It's no different than how the West helped to create the boogeymen we have today in the Middle East. It's called the best enemy money can buy.
