Hey, everyone. i thought just share a little somothing I wrote Let Out Lying on a mystic shore where gold drips from the sand Where the sun seems to smile On the Calm and peaceful land I sense a calm, a sort wave I cannot hear or see Flood into my open mind Leaving hope washed over me The storm clouds have drifted off Into the closets of the sky The rain has left its gentle dew And now has said good bye The hills seem filled with green suprises That whisper in me ear Come and climb my tallest peak And leave behind your fears No beep, or humm, no not a sound Comes forth from man’s machines Nature here is on ubstructed Quite and serene And as the golden sun falls down And hides quietly form sight The shy is filled with bands of red That call upon the night The moon is silhouetted on the Blue canvas of sky Soon its light will shine so bright Like fireflies on high I thought I heard the mockingbird Whisper through its wings Come with me to far off places Come to better things I tried to go but as I stood Upon the waters edge I looked back at the city streets And said, "I’m here until the end" I cannot leave this concrete cell This ever shrinking cage It brings happiness to some But It drives me into rage The pathetic neon glow From the lying corporate signs Will never reach the brilliance Of natures grand design And If I make it to the highest hill I’ll turn around and shout Enjoy your shrinking concrete cage, For I have been let out Leave feedback here. if its bad say it. It would offend me more for you to not give me the critique I'm asking for then, just say its good so you dont hurt my feelings
