Less interesting clips on you-Tube

Is it me or are the number of videos on you tube decreasing? If I am right, what alternatives are there to you tube?

 

The new algorithm they put out a few months ago really nerfed the ability to run into random fun shit that used to come up in the right-hand recommendation list. I hate it.

 

it seems that youtube is clearly mainstream media now. ideas that really challenge the status quo aren't really allowed except in a really marginalized way.

 

vimeo and dailymotion are two alternatives. There's also youku, which is the chinese version of youtube. It's really funny. You get to see what the chinese people have access to, and you will be amazed, all the stuff there is at least 20 years old. (of course, you won't find any criticism of the communist party there!)
