    This is a UK question.
I know ecstasy is a class A drug - and technically speaking has a maximum punishment of life/unlimited fine (if intent to supply) or 7 years for possession.
But I also know that these sentences are rarely carried out.

Realistically - if the police caught you with say.... 5 - 10 pills on you. First offence. What would that be?
Technically speaking any more than 3 pills counts as intent to supply.... but would they really bother with it for a few more than that?

I guess it depends on the individual officers.... and on how much they are concentrating on 'drug crack-downs' at the time and things.... but does anyone have any experiences or anything?

dude i doubt youde get 7 years for a 10 pack. My buddy had nine on him and got two days in jail and a 1000$ fine. Granted this is the U.S...I know in the U.K. ecstasy is used a massive scale and is the equivalent to America's cocaine use in the 80's. So i dunno. 7 years seems SO excessive.

I had a friend who at 15 got caught with 10. He got charged with possession with intent to supply. The intent to supply got dropped and he had to do drugs counciling every few weeks for a year and about half a day of community service... got off lightly.
