just a alert for those who experiment in legal alternative drugs, read and avoid the following products. ****Legal Speed - brain bleeding Trip2night Snuffadelic report given by Dr. Sabucedo ""Both Legal Speed and Trip2night contain ephedra, a dietary supplement which has been linked to several deaths. Its stimulating effects on the heart can be deadly. There are also amounts of medications commonly found in cold remedies or nasal decongestants. For instance, Trip2night and Snuffadelic both contain dextro-methor-phan, which can be toxic at high levels. *The compound in Legal Speed can cause brain bleeding."" i know alot of you dont have a problem with dxm and will probably not take this serious, but having abused it 24/7 longterm, only going to 55+(lost count) emergency rooms in the intensive care with kids who had their bodies crushed b/c i was in such bad shape from dxm. i can easily reconmend experimenting with drinking gasoline next if you enjoy dxm and havnt evolved out of a self destructive drug pattern to a mind expansive journey. dont want to start fights, just a little downing to see so many people using dxm with smiles.
That's a news article, not a study. From what I know ephedrine has been linked to stroke, never heard of "brain bleeding" though.
brain bleeding... only time ive ever heard of brain bleeding is when people are making up bullshit bout L
"As a result of strong evidence of serious dangers associated with their use, including the danger of heart attacks, strokes (caused by high blood pressure and resulting bleeding in the brain) and possible death, The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advised consumers to stop using dietary supplements containing ephedra. In order to protect consumers, the FDA published a final rule on April 12, 2004, banning the sale of dietary supplements that contain ephedrine alkaloids. Withdrawn from the market under this rule are all dietary supplements that contain a source of ephedrine alkaloids, such as ephedra, Ma Huang, Sida cordifolia, and pinellia. http://72.14.207.104/search?q=cache...a+and+brain+bleeding&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=2
if the FDA says it you know it must be true. especially if it's in a news article. thanks for saving my life, i don't want my brain to bleed! i'll just stick to the drugs my shrink gave me from now on. psh.
oh and it's cute how they try to throw salvia in there and make it seem bad, when they ordered it from a different website and had nothing to say against it.
yeah the page pretty much seemed like a rant/farce towards drugs to me as well, the main reason of posting was the fact these companies dont even tell you the ingredients on the packet of the product or on their website, let alone the dangers, leaving much unanswered, anyways atleast thats one more person who knows not to take legal speed ;D!
brainbleeding= "Cerebral aneurysm is the enlargement, distention, dilation, bulging, or ballooning of the wall of a cerebral artery or vein. Aneurysms affect arteries throughout the body, including blood vessels in the brain (intracerebral aneurysm). Ruptures of intracerebral aneurysm result in stroke (loss of blood supply to tissue) and bleeding into the subarachnoid space). The most common aneurysm is an abdominal aneurysm."
ephedra could potentially cause brain bleeding via stroke just like tonnes of other drugs that people take all the time and dont get stroked
ephedra is made out to be horrible for you the same way marijuana or vitamin c is. it's natural, it's good for you, and it's not too expensive for most people. if you take a whole bottle of aspirin, what do you think is going to happen to you? what if you ate two loaves of bread? or drank five gallons of water? too much of ANYTHING is deadly. every single article i've read against ephedra says it CAN be dangerous at "high doses". nothing i have read has convinced me, or even suggested, that it's at all dangerous at normal doses. and none of their studies have convinced me that any of the deaths "caused" by ephedra have any real link to it's use. by the way, did you know: if certain people take a kids tylenol and then an adult tylenol they die?
unlike standard products which sell ephedra to lose weight etc liquid speed claims to induce effects similar to.... speed, so my assumption would be that the ephedra dose would be pretty high considering most ephedra users dont report "this feels like the perfect rave drug." stated on legal speed "Consume 1 ounce of Liquid Speed, and you are blowing up within 15 minutes!" also they sell a product snuffadelic which claims to be LSD replacment with no ingredients listed or dangers, simply only references to lsd, when its realy dextromethorphan, all it would take is a kid buying this cheap product and using it daily, to burn out the recepters in his brain creating holes. summary: legal immitation drugs are poorly made, poorly advertised with no information on what you are ingesting (for a reason), if overdose accures, the hospital drug tests normally trigger 15 different drugs especially with dxm, so that would create a sticky situation when the doctor says you just had an opiate overdose and gives you an andrenaline shot into your heart to snap you out of the trance, which is assumed to be a fatal opiate overdose. i cant imagine what they would have done to me if no one was there with me to tell them it was dxm creating my state, with that alone they stuffed me with tubes, decathyter, one down my nose to my stomach, and needle in the arm to flush the system. all this for a hallucinogen. imagine if they thought i had overdosed on heroin which the blood test they gave me twice concluded, every one of my 55+ ER blood reports for dxm claimed i was either on, pcp, heroin, and amphetamines. combinations changing each visit oddly.
if you put something in your body without knowing what it is, and it fucks you up, that's your own damn fault. but you should still have the right to do it.
yeh thats a little silly but perhaps it was a joke from what ive read about ephedra is that its not healthy nor harmless, but defiantely not too bad. i think the problem with it is that past a point, the physical effects start to get much more intense than the psychological ones. i doubt anywhere near as harmful as meth, but people would take it plenty because its legal
