Leftism vs Rightism

Leftism = Maximize personal/social freedom but restrict economic freedom to achieve equity, equality, harmony, peace, and progress. The left creates social programs and uses progressive taxing to achieve this.

Rightism = Minimize personal/social freedom and maximize economic freedom leading to inequality, inequity, regression, disharmony, war, poverty, crime, classism, and elitism. The right favors the rich and screws the poor by cutting social programs, implementing regressive taxing and spending more in security like army and police. Army to maintain their order and police to keep the working class in place and check.

Leftism without democracy leads to totalitarian regimes.
Rightism without democracy leads to feudalistic societies.
Rightism with democracy breeds unseen oligarchies and plutocracies.

Rightism seeks to minimize personal/social freedom to maintain the status quo of elite economic freedom.

Under capitalism the state and government work in favour of the elites because they surpassed the economic freedom of the majority creating an inequality.


Right = Economic individualism and social collectivism
Left = Economic collectivism and social individualism
Right = Negative liberty
Left = Positive liberty

Absolute economic freedom exists only for the rich to get richer. Elites/rightists penetrate social freedom to keep the masses busy and distracted. Gay marriage, abortion, and internet censorship are a form of distractions.

dude the only reason americans have the right in the first place to speak out and ask questions is due in part to capitalism, due to this econimic policy anyone can make money from selling goods, meaning any peace activist group can use capitalism (I.E selling shirts and necklaces) as a means to get money, which is then used to fight against something they disagree with.

CAPITALISM = Basing human value STRICTLY on a monetary scale (i.e. capital). The Strong survive, the Weak die. The Strong = RICH, The Weak = POOR.

There has to be a better way to govern and combine ways to barter, trade and determine value without a system based on monetary "capital". What that is could be argued as socialism or communism, but I feel that there has to be a mixture of a free market, yet regulated and kept in check.

I think that a good balance is necessary. Anti-trust type laws, certain regulations are necessary to the checks and balances of the economic system. Thus, I find myself being an advocate of a free market yet with TRUE equal "opportunity" for anyone.

And regardless of what anyone says... everyone does NOT have equal opportunity. We have a long, long way to go yet.

To use the terms "leftism" and "rightism" is way too vague. Can you be specific about what you mean? Generally speaking, on the right, there is Fascism and Conservatism, while on the left there is Liberalism, socialism, and Communism, each with their own nuances. Politics isn't black or white; there are MANY shades of grey...

I think you missed my point. Assuming everything is equal, a smart person is more likely to succeed than a stupid person. That is why i said we'll never have equal oppurtunity. We aren't born equal. I wasn't born as smart as einstein or as good looking as brad pitt. I'm at a disadvantage in becoming a science genius and a model/actor. Should i get AA benefits so i can become a scientist and a GQ model? Heck NO!
