They're a game changer, in terms of energy efficiency and brilliance.
I know nothing about growing, but in my stage lighting rigs, I use LED exclusively (except the projectors, but that will change next year). Every time I see the header LED grow lights I think about how awesome my LED's are, so I thought I'd chime in here to praise this technology.

I'll second LED's as being superior in terms of cost efficiency vs metal halide or sodium lamps.

I have a stealthy microgrow setup in my bedroom (currently not being used) and I got a single 90W LED growlight. My very first grow attempt ended up being two females (bagseed genetics) in a Mylar tent with the 90W LED. Growth was healthy, strong, and rapid and the girls made some great buds.

My only upgrade for next time will be a 2nd 90W light. More light = more growth!

Heya LED is the best. I just ordered a 600W 3w LED. As I understand it is the best at the moment and at a price that is more than ok. Ordered it from Pulsargrow.com they incl Vat,shipping and customs to most countries.. Fucking hell yeah. Gonna be great.. will post a picture of my indoor garden later on.. Thanks pulsargrow.com

the lights in the picutre are not LEDs, they are too thin to be a led light, LEDs are great, but they afraid of heat, so LED lights have fan on back , they can't be too thin~
