If I ever hear another drugged-out, warbled "Playing In the Band" sung by Donna Jean Godchaux, it will be TOO SOON...

That's why I hate the Dick's Picks series...Since the Vault was mis-managed, people raided the rarities and true "gems" of the Vault, leaving us 57,034 versions of "Playing IN the Band," all sung during the Donna Jean Godchaux years...

    Bleahgghhhh!!!

I was never too fond of most of Brent Mydlands tunes, but I really don't like Never Trust a Woman.

I too don't want to hear Donna and Playing in The Band. It's a great tune but...

touch of grey has a real ''pop'' sound to it, and it actually was a chart topping hit, and for that alone i dont really like it. on the other hand, it was jerry's song about how he wanted to live after he came out of a diabetic coma, so i cant say i hate it.

other than that, the song 'operator' never really appealed to me

Touch of Grey is way too good of a song to dis though. It was so well written and the only bad thing was the cheesy tinkling keyboard throughout

I like some slow songs but this song just doesn't do it for me and it seems to drag.

    Wave to the Wind...arrrgh.
    MY TOG story.
In 1989, I had a heart problem that took me down in a public manner (I used to perform professionally). Three days later as I'm leaving the hospital, as I drop into my car's passenger seat the radio comes on. an ad is ending and TOG starts.
Here I am, barely back from death, or at least the place where one decides (the tunnel to the light is a chrysanthemum, by the way.) to go or stay and the first music I hear is Jerry telling me we will survive, we will get by...
pop song or no, it was a life ring for me to grab.
I've had tears running down my face at Schwag shows when Jimmy's sung it.
It was a true "Thank You, Jerry."

My least favorite song is absolutely Attics of My Life. It's so draggy for me that I end up tuning the whole thing out every time I listen to American Beauty.
