i can't smoke, and i don't have time to make pot butter. do leary biscuits work? for those who don't know, it involves putting some weed on a cracker and surrounding it in cheese, then popping it in the microwave. the idea being that the THC is activated and soaks into the cheese. anyone tried it before? i want to, but i can't really afford to waste weed. also, does it smell a lot?
Oddly enough I tried these yesterday. I'm not sure what I did wrong but they didn't work . I used about .5 of weed split among to crackers with cheese on top and on the bottom of them, tossed it in the microwave for about 30 seconds and ate them. Never felt anything
Just make yourself a firecracker, Its kind of the same thing except you put peanut butter instead of cheese, and bake it in the oven. It smells like peanut butter/crackers..at least when I make it. I'm sure the serach button or google could give you an exact recipe.
ive tried stuff in the microwave and it didn't work for some reason so your best bet is a stove which i have gotten results from.
my friend was playing a gig a few weeks ago and he found a bud about 1.5g but he couldnt smoke it obviously so he just ate it straight haha, he was pretty fucked..that was the first time he ate weed though
i've been looking for good recipes too. ones that actually work. i guess i'll need to try a few and report back.
It doesnt work like that does it? I think it needs to be heat activated and surrounded by fatty foods to absorbe it
nah, i'm PRETTY sure you can just eat it raw, but again you have to eat a lotttt more and i think you don't get as much effect, but you definitely will feel something if you eat enough.
Well cured and dried weed is already considerably decarboxylated. Letting the THC absorb out of the plant material and into the lipid will help your system digest it, but it is not exactly necessary. You can eat the weed whole, but you will have to ingest more, and it has to be very potent, well cured, and dried. If you don't want to cook, or lose potency, you can simply make hash. hash can be ingested straight up, no heat, no fat, no alcohol needed. Personally, i think cooking is your best bet as far a potency, and conservation of material, but it is not the only way.
"Microwave ovens heat food quickly, efficiently, and safely, but do not brown or bake food in the way conventional ovens do. This makes them unsuitable for cooking certain foods, or to achieve certain effects. Microwaving food raises several safety issues, largely connected with leakage of microwave radiation outside the oven, as well as reducing risks, such as that of fire from high temperature heat sources. There has been some concern that microwaves might damage food (microwave radiation has sounded alarming to some), but the dominant view is that microwaved food has no safety differences from other foods, except for the obvious (e.g., the lack of browning); thus microwaved food is as safe to eat as other food." "Dielectric heating (also known as electronic heating, RF heating, high-frequency heating) is the phenomenon in which radiowave or microwave electromagnetic radiation heats a dielectric material, especially as caused by dipole rotation." "Dipole rotation is the mechanism normally referred to as dielectric heating, and is most widely observable in the microwave oven where it operates most efficiently on liquid water, and much less so on fats, sugars, and frozen water. This is caused by fats and sugars being far less polar than water molecules, and are thus less affected by the forces generated by the alternating electromagnetic fields. Meanwhile, frozen water molecules are fixed in place in a crystal lattice, and cannot freely rotate and absorb heat from molecular friction." (Mother's Love's translation: microwaves make the electrons bump and grind, creating heat through friction in between the molecules, safe unless there is a hole in your microwave.) its not a contained atomic bomb, its a fucking microwave. don't be afraid of the word "radiation" its just a word. radiation (n) : the shooting forth of anything from a point or surface, like the diverging rays of light; as, the radiation of heat; the process of radiating waves or particles as far as eating it "raw" at least it has fiber. it would be a waste of weed, and you'd definately have gastrointestinal trouble. heating marijuana makes it easier to break down in the body. its just not worth eating raw. choose a conveyance (cracker, bread, leftover mashed potatoes) and a fat (peanut butter, butter, cheese, or oil, etc) add weed alongside the fat and heat. if you are worried about smell cover the risk with a more potent smell. use a 'stinkier' cheese, use garlic mashed potatoes, etc.
Pot Butter does not take that much time if you do it right. You can have a batch in about 20 - 30 minutes. It's then ready to use. Double Boiler Method Rules! Brownies take 20 - 30 minutes also. You could be eating some very good special brownies in a matter of an hour.
