Has anyone got their pilots license?
    Where did you learn?
How difficult did you find it?
    How expensive was it?

Any tips for the budding aviators out there?

Find a Certificated Flight Instructor in your area. Its not that expensive. Unless you want a license quickly. Takes time to build hours anyways. What kinda engine, aircraft all cost differently. Cheap to fly a Cessna 172 for around 50-100$ hr depending on the instructor, and fuel cost. Its easy to learn but ya should prepare yourself with a ground school..

Actually Microsoft Flight Simulator is a good way to learn instruments and how to read them to what is going on with the aircraft.. Ive only played with it a little.

if your instructor is impatient find another one. flying the plane isn't that hard, reading the weather is all important. study your ground school well. remember most accidents are due to pilot error.
