well, I was 11 or 12 when I started learning basic, batch file programming and assembly code... we all aren't the same.
I might take French if I ever go to college. As easily as I picked up Spanish, French should be a snap.
I'm learning french right now. I had 3 hours last tuesday, a double this tuesday. As much as I hate the timetabling I'm probably taking it for A level too.
I took French for a while, decided I didn't like it (okay, I confess, I was having major difficulty with it!), and now regret not going pushing through with it and working harder! Ah but I could still learn it. Working on picking up more Spanish right now though.
i took french for a long time. i could even carry on a conversation. but with NO ONE around who spoke french, except the vietnamese who spoke it with such a heavy accent, it faded away quickly. sucks. all that work.
I love french. I took it all through my high school/middle school years and got to the highest level you can in my school system. I speak on a pretty regular basis, with a guy at the Starbucks I always go to, and a guy that works at the grocery. probably will continue with it once I get going with the rest of my education. it's a beautiful language.
I am French...but I dont speak it often I know enough slang to think theres more of a joke behind the rice (grains) link
