When did any of these students claim to be an "expert"? It's called freedom of speech. All they have ever done is suggest changes they would like to see. But I am not aware of them every claiming to have any experience or education beyond being a student.

They haven't "suggested" anything. They've demanded what they want like a child having a tantrum, and labeled anyone who might disagree all sorts of vile things. Typical manipulative behavior children use in an attempt to get what they want. But pointing that out, and suggesting they use an adult style of expressing their desires is attacking kids. Oh wait, some adults behave the same way. I guess the only way to move on is to ignore the childlike behavior, wherever it comes from, and make sure our elected representatives continue to support our constitutional rights. Enter the NRA, second amendment foundation and many other advocate groups who'll bear the childish names and labels given to anyone who owns and enjoys firearms for us, so that we who do can go about our daily lives without the additional load of dealing with children who think they're angry over anything but not getting their way.
And if that kid's going to put his face in front of any camera around, he'd better develop the skin to deal with hearing about how his head appears misshaped, a little like kazoo from the Flintstone's.

 

ummmmm the children "who think they're angry" were part of a mass murder in their school and could have been killed like their friends were. You're also being intentionally biased. People who have a different perspective than the kids and express that constructively aren't the issue. There are some vile nutjobs who have incited violence against children, called them skinhead lesbians, etc etc. I'm sure you've seen those and I am guessing you do not condone that behavior.

The NRA is just a cult fringe group. Their membership is tiny and their leadership only cares about sales. Their fetish opinion is meaningless

 

Soooooo many weak adults are so easily triggered and threatened by children. It's unfortunate these same adults are utterly incapable of listening in order to protect their own fragile self-esteem

So like MADD? Probably not a good example for you because MADD is very influential when it comes to drunk driving laws. They are not personally dead but they know someone who is and that's good enough for the goverment to listen to their views.
