Lately, I like to get drunk more than i like to get high/stoned

Getting high/stoned during the week to chill is fine, but usually i get bored(no cable), munch, and then go to bed. Not much fun.

When i drink though i'm the fucking life of the party and cool/fun shit is always around the next corner.

Weed comes hangover free, but without cable and home internet access, it gets old, even with friends......

 

Hmmmm.....I've always preferred drinking over smoking. For the same reason basically. I drink every night, usually smoke 5-6 times a week.

wow. i have the opposite opinion than all of you! i would rather smoke than drink any day of my life, plus i quit drinking last month, atleast when you take "too much" weed you dont end up doing things you will regret for the rest of your life(most of the time)...i know you know what im talking about.

and imo i have had more pleasent social moments while smoking than drinking, but what do i know im only 16 and havnt had tons of social drinking 'get togethers' yet. god i can't wait till im 21

 

i love getting stoned but going 2 a party and getting smashed with girls from my school is da bomb. u dont really ever have experiences like that if every1 was just smoking weed, u know?

Drink is basically always more fun.

 

Start doing something artistic. I play guitar myself, so when I'm high there's basically always something to do. Nothing like blazing up with some bandmates too and just jamming . It also of course sparks my creativity in a certain way that is different from sober, hehe.

But other then that I'd listen to music or play a goofy video game. I never watch TV while I'm sober anyway, so I could care less about it when I'm high.

Weed is a huge aphrodisiac for me. I wish people would smoke weed and fuck each other at partys and stuff instead of drinking.

yeah though I think I know what you're sayin...I always dreamed of havin big weed parties, but it never happens....prolly because of what digitalldj said in that it's more social. When I'm really stoned my concept of time is really messed up so I don't know if I'm replying way too fast or not fast enough; it kinda sucks.

Overall though I get sick of sitting around smoking pot...it's so boring. and watching movies or TV shows baked SUCKS! I can always picture the stage around the scene and the cameras and I absolutely pick apart the acting - it just feels so fake that I can't stand it.

Heres the key though guys: Go do something! I fucking love going on bike rides with my ipod stoned, going to clubs, playing frisbee, going on walks, etc...the point is that it enhances your life, instead of your state of mind.

The shitty thing: I only have one friend who feels the same way. Everyone I know wants to get baked, stuff their mouths with bad food and sit on the couch...

 

Just remembered something - Not to mention, I think of the *best* ideas when I'm baked! If I do decide to watch a movie, I may take 10 minutes to pick one, but once I pick one, it's on! Usually right when the high comes on I'm instantly like "Ohh dude we gotta [insert activity here]"

so yeah I suppose I'll stop hijacking this thread already. maybe I'll make one of my own.

I agree with you though. I havn't smoked for over a month. Ever since my first shroom trip coincidentally...hmm

 

Yeah I love taking walks in the woods, or just around. It's fun to just blaze in the forest sometimes and talk with some friends, or maybe take a hike. Sometimes me and a bunch of buddys go in the forest near the house and sit around in a big smoking circle. Very peaceful and fun . Weed can be a great socialising drug with the right people and setting and such.

I have felt that way about weed for years, my friends couldnt understand, and refused to allow me to quit, until I joined the military. Now they leave me alone about it.

 

ya, WTF is all this im hearing? 'its always more fun to drink'... noooooo! haha im just kidding, i mean each to his own, but I LOVE WEED MMMMM WEEEEEED! aha getting stoned is great for me... i love the smoking part, i love the taste, the high, the no hangover, the great vibes... just love it!

You guys are just lightweigts, thats all. Maybe not, but the responses make you seem that way. I drink 10-12 beers a night, and I havent been "drunk" since I was a teenager, safe for the occasional miscalculation of how much whiskey I was drinking. Beer is like smoking, just no smoke, but it is much more of an aqquired taste, which takes much longer for some people to be able to handle

 

^ yeah, i just dislike the taste of any kind of beer too much to force it down. i used to be a hard liquor sort of guy, but now im just full blown stoner

 

I got ya, but a LOT of people start to get into beer sooner or later. It's like weed really, you wouldnt smoke schwag your whole life because it's cheap right? Same with beer. Cheapest cases I buy (unless Im desperate) cost around $37.00 Really just go exploring, there is a WORLD of amazing beer's out there.

I usually drink jack'n'coke or jack'n'pepsi with shots of jack. sometimes jim or johnnie. i'm thinking of trying some different whiskey though as jack is starting to taste reeeeal cheap...

 

Johnny is good, And Jim is good too, but I hate Jack, even though thats my sons name, he is named after a different jack
THE BEST Irish, authentic, imported, affordable, and readily available whiskey ever made IMO is Tullamore Dew. The best. But I am definitley a beer drinker these days.
