it was during "All things must Pass" from the concert for george...... hell, that whole video is pretty sad. beware of darkness, isnt it a pity, and my sweet lord made me teary eyed as well.
i was listening to this live elliott smith album i got awhile ago that was recorded about 5 months before his suicide. I dont remember which song exactly, i just remember being so sad that he went and did that to himself, and it just made me cry a little...
It may sound weird, but I was 4 years old and it was wilson philips's "Hold on". It just made me sad. (there might have been more but this is what I remember)
LOL...i'm going to get ripped on for this: phish, 2-22-03....sick, sick bathtub gin....and i was way too happy (and drunk) to be back at a phish show i got teary eyed during velvet sea at coventry too
this thread is like, so emo, omg. ... anyway i havent cried during a song for like... a year or two... when i did it was from some bright eyes song i could relate too much too... prob some others that i ferget.
hmm about 2 years ago, i was listening to dylan's 'desolation row' I could not stop crying, but then again I was trippin' on mushies at the time too, the song broke me down though.........
oddly enough it was "brain damage by pink floyd, me and my gf used to love that song but I just couldn't handle it after we broke up for a while
Ani Difranco's 32 Flavours and Billy Bragg's St Swithen's day always get me, mainly becuase of certain memories they bring back.
I listened to Tears In Heaven the night my mother died... I havne't cried that hard since. But lately, I was listening to Jeff Buckley's version of "Halleluiah" and every time I hear that song I just break down. It's such a beautiful song...
Athlete - wires. That song is one of the few songs that actually makes me cry. The subject of the song is just so sad and I always end up crying when i hear it. peace and love xxxxxx
when I first downloaded and heard Oasis' cover of "Help!"... jesus man... so inspirational. haha i feel like im gonna start bawlin' when I hear "Don't Go Away -> Slide Away -> Help!" right after another on Unplugged & Unliammed
I don't know exactly what the last one is, but I think it might be Handsome Johnny by Ritchie Havens. The song itself is energetic and not sad at all, but it made me think of the awful things people do to each other and the uselessness of war. Maybe a bit cliché that I cry about that sort of things but yeah, I do.
