Moved to Vegas about a year ago, not a fan of 100+ degree temps, but enjoyed the nice winter. Probably gonna stay. Anyone on here in Vegas area?
nope but i visit vegas a few times a year. Its fucken awesome, but im pretty sure if i lived there i would lose everything i own lol. Or die
Hello LivinAFantasy. I lived in LV for a short time. Had a very good experience until my vehicle got stolen. In retrospect, I'd live in a gated community. (they found my car in CA - lol) My daughter was checking out the university at the time. She was working at NY NY Casino - I was in the middle of getting the 911 operator position. Thank goodness we left b4 the economy tanked. We actually had it snow while we were there. What a site!!
Hi renogirl_2. Sorry to hear about your vehicle. I was actually surprised crime isn't as bad here as some places I've lived. That said, I'll probably buy a place in Henderson, preferably Green Valley, if I decide to stay. The economy has to pick up eventually.
LivinAFantasy, The Henderson area is beautiful. I do miss LV. We all hope the economy picks up. It is headed in the up direction ever so slowly, however. Best of luck to you
my aunt and grandparents are on there way back from Vegas. that's the only thing my grandmother looks forward too is going to vegas and having her wine, it's kind of sad
