Nice shots. What did ya scan a few postcards?
Kinda generic for Vegas. Sorry. I live in Vegas, and they really look like postcards.
    Tourist crap. Ya know?

yea matt, actually since I normally try to do photography as a form of visual therapy, my only solution for sin city was to just capture it in a journalistic kind of way, so the post card shots are exactly what I was hoping to create.

Well, they are very clear. Did you use a tripod?
If not, you have a steady hand.

no tripod used on those either... I took it along for the trip, but the only time I used it was for a sunset sequence over the ocean in san diego. I rarely use it because I'm impatient and I find some of the angles I use are hard to get with a tripod. Plus I like being able to just grab the camera when I come across a spot that feels right and snap the shot and move on - it just has to flow out of me, I'm happier with the results this way.

Now if I'm trying to capture the flow of water or light reflections on water at night, I always use the tripod because the longer exposure requires holding the focus or they blur. But it's worth the extra effort in these instances.

I used a Fuji S7000 digital for those shots.

nice pics, but I'm upset that the sphinx building wasn't captured. :(
