Langerado kicked my ass this past weekend. cheese blew it up both nights. how about that best feeling w/keller>all the freaky people make the beauty of the world w/ Franti. WOW. Particle, Keller, MMW, and SCI all put on some great shows. The drums in the lot after the show were pretty intense too, however i was trippin my ass off by then. Great vibes and even better music. (some good shit)
It was a bomb ass weekend and worth the long ass drive. Considering I'm from Virginia. Will go back next year, and I see why SCI was trying to get down there. It is a cool little place! I really miss the weather too!
I wish I would have gone now too. I love K-dub. I ll be seeing him at the roo this year and any show he is at in VA Havent missed a VA K-dub show since 2003!
Oh, did anyone check out DJ Williams Projekt? They are the baddest ass band on the Richmond, VA scene. Glad to see they are starting to get some recognition!
It was an awesome weekend, Worth every bit of pain that im expierencing right now. Danced my ass off. Did anyone catch Mofro at reveloutions that was a spectacular show. I will be back next year, it is undescribable.
john had a great time. particle late night was my highlight. somehow i got in all 3 latenights at the culture room. kaki king was good too, she rocks. of course kdub kicked ass, i really dont remember much of anything else though . . . . i ended up selling 8 necklaces and spent all the money on $5 beers.
I have been to all 3 Langerado's and they just keep getting better...the schedule was run like fucking clockwork...never a moment without music. Did anyone notice how fucked up the brochure's were? New Monsoon's time went in reverse and you had to read it from bottom to top. I can't wait til next year, haven't missed one yet and will be attending for years to come. I even got to meet a few forum folk at the fest.
Yeah I noticed that too. The brochures were really fucked up. Only other thing was that sucked was you couldn't camp there. But other than that it was a chill lil place.
Langerado rocked. SCI's Saturday night BeeGee's cover encore is still ringing in my head. I got hooked up with some kind folks that actually had reserved camping within Markham Park. We were at A-10 thru A-16, and had the best nightly drum circles complete with fire hooping, and poi, every night until at 11:30 pm, when the sheriff's deputies would very kindly ask us to stop. Members of Ft. Lauderdale's Jerrod's Door played in circle as did members of the Ft. Lauderdale community drum circle. I felt priviliged to play with such accomplished drummers. I love you South Florida! Hot showers, and walking distance to the venue...can't beat that. Only thing is that I noticed there were plenty of places left to camp in that park. It wasn't full by any stretch. I didn't get that. See you all at Wakarusa.
If you pocketed my cell phone after I let you borrow it at Langerado or you know the person who did, it's not too late to send it to me! Just call my home phne number in there and I'll give you the mailing addy. No hard feelings. C'mon you know you wanna get that phone back to me. GOOD vibes everyone. Wish me luck!!~!!!!~
