Ah I see, I fail then. Didn't watch the video and the thread title can be misleading.

I've been 210mph+ on a street bike so I figured something labeled "world speed record" would be a bit faster. Guess I expect too much out of the Lambo

 

The kind of comment I would expect out of a biker. You guys just detest cars. There are super cars that do have a much higher top speed then your liter bike can reach such as the Veyron, your bike can't do 255 can it? Although you can keep up well simply due to power to weight ratio. But when it rains who has the advantage? lol

Once you get to the 200 mph area you are approaching the limit of what street rides car or bike can do. The air restiance you create at that speed is just too great. Sure you can get something with a jet engine and take it to the salt flats and do 700, but that's not street legal.

I'd love to be a "biker" but as of now I've only ridden a handful of times. And I wouldn't buy a car or bike that goes 200+. I'd much rather have a custom chopper or rat rod than a crotch rocket or super car.

It was just a misunderstanding on my part as my focus when reading the thread title was on "world speed record" and didn't realize it was only for that specific car.
