Where did you lose it? Describe the moment. in my room on my double bed, during a storm, on beltane (1st may), my dog was on the bed (because she was scared of the thunder.) rose scented candles.

Any advice for first timers? Trust the person, love is ideal but hey, its just sex. sex is both very very important as it is basically why we are the way we are and at the same time, dont stress about it too much, have fun. if you are in a relationship, ideally wait if you want it to last. oh and be safe! pill and condom would be best. and make it special, thats why i had candles, music would have been nice to. make it memorable.

It is a special moment, but don't put pressure on yourself about what it should or shouldn't be. If you can wait until marriage, it is a wonderful gift to give your lifetime partner. But if you are ready now, don't use that as a tool to end up with someone who is not on the same page. Much better to get married a non virgin, than to save it for someone you will not stay married to.

Yah, I don't think this is very different from when I was your age. My senior year in high school, guys were always asking me if I was a virgin, and it embarrassed me to say I was, which is silly.

And in hindsight, I think it's better if you plan it a little instead of just doing it on the spur of the moment, cause it only happens once. That's what I told my daughters. Choose a guy who will appreciate the moment with you.

And needless to say, make sure you have condoms handy!
