Just was talking to a friend about this...and this isnt about how expensive a vehicle is but the type of vehicle, is there any telling sign generally that comes with the type of vehicle a dude drives?

The main reason i ask is because my cousin is "the" one that is always having some girl troubles etc... and he is an in shape guy and what not, but to me...and this is just because im his cousin and ill bust his balls but to me i think he drives sissy cars. He is driving a Malibu. He had a Malibu before it that was purple. And this is my own opinion but i just dont think it helps his case. Im not saying he needs to drive a RR, but i just personally wouldnt be driving and or rollin in a Malibu.

Now i understand that this isnt the be all or end all for what makes someone attracted to someone so i hope that doesnt get mixed up, but is there any connection whatsoever?

Like what i mean is this, and i wouldnt know because well im not a woman....but to me i would think there has to be a certain kind of man that comes with lets say a person who drives trucks, or a person who drives sports cars, or a person whos in beamers, or a person thats driving all proud in a malibu...

I could be totally off base with it and maybe women dont even give one second care or glance to what someone drives, but i always felt it can tell a small story perhaps. I drive trucks, always have and always will...so its sort of my MO so to speak. Its like i feel it meshes my personality.

Anyways my cousin has been on dates and they all sort of seem to end the same and even though hes a nice guy, i just think that sometimes rolling up in a malibu doesnt help at this point, again i could be totally wrong and off with that. But i remember him saying that one of the girls asked what kind of car he has and he said a malibu and shes was like "uh, a malibu?"....

Ill stop talking now, weigh in ladies if you could :cowboy:

I love fast cars and big trucks...I'll admit it's awesome when a dude has a great ride. That doesn't mean I would pick one man over another because of a vehicle. Unless, there's a harley involved, that is.

    Kidding ;).

For me it's more of how clean and maintained it is. Don't get me wrong if he has a nice car it's a bonus but not everything.

Ever rode in a piece of shit car that was driven but someone who knows how to drive?

Then get in a nice car and you don't even care cause the driver is too cautious and boring.

I don't care what car a man drives, or if he has a vehicle at all. In general, this kind of vain pursuits just turn me off.

I think you're misinterpreting my post. Its not about how expensive of a vehicle or anything, I'm speaking about the type.

I'm having a hard time putting it into words to explain that I'm not referring to anything such as how much money someone has or anything with this.

No, the type of car has no bearing for me.

The condition - esp the interior (is it clean and uncluttered etc) certainly does.

I'm guessing there is an age range involved.

Granted, I get all excited by Eco car technology. And the only time I got gear heads was when I drove a BMW Hydrogen 7 as part of an article I was writing.

I appreciate a car that handles well, starts when it should, stops when it should and doesn't leak.
I tend to like durable, efficient cars. Subarus, Hondas, Toyotas.
I like the small Fiat designs, and I like small cars overall. I'd love to see the Leaf conquer distance anxiety. Or any maker, really.

As for any read I might get off a man and his vehicle, well maintained, relatively clean (some debris from camping or hiking is always ok), appropriate for what he needs all tell me he's a thoughtful, meticulous but not ridiculous guy.
A flashy, loud car isn't going to get positive attention from me.

    And honestly, purple would.

Maybe it isn't the women who have issues with a Malibu.

I think it's pretty stupid that motor companies actually design vehicles for specific genders but anyway I do like a brunette cutie driving a small VW.

It sort of puts me off when men (or anyone) are too concerned with cars. It's especially unattractive to me when guys feel like they need big trucks or something. I dunno, just not something that interests me.

Yeah, trust me, motorbikes are worse. Anybody who rides one of those has a small penis as far as I'm concerned and yeah, car talk... REAL FUN.

LOL. I don't talk about shopping very much. And, miraculously, I know men who don't talk about cars!

Who would have thought that our sex organs don't entirely dictate our interests!

My boyfriend, bless his heart, doesn't like football OR cars.

But it's ok if you do, obviously. I feel that many people have an interest in automobiles and it just isn't my cup o' tea.

My husband doesn't talk about sports or cars.

And I don't talk about shopping-much....but only because I don't often have money to go all out shopping... (like buy whatever I want)... when I do- hell, I'm not a super girly girl or something but I can get down with spending money and talking about it... take me a bunch of books, music, clothes, shoes...sure!, vitamins and supplements, good make up, kitchen stuff.... yeah, shopping is nice... I like buying stuff for other people though too. anywaaayys.... :leaving:
