I am new to weed*, vageuly know the general prices*, but I am also curious and paranoid on what is in it. There have been stories and reports about cocane, heroine, pcp, and even rat poisions, which seems unlikely. So, Hipforums, around what % of all deals are secretly laced with somthing else? Also: *How do I tell the difference between schwag and higher quality through just visualization, smell, and texture? *On average, about how many grams will 40USD get? *Assuming the pot is laced, would a bong help filter it? I know that acids react with water and such...
usually people who lace weed with other drugs do it for personal use or let their customers know about it so that they can make more money. Rat poison is probably rare. to tell the difference between quality is not always easy but theres a big difference between total shit weed and high grade stuff. google image shwag and look around on this forum for nice bud posts. 40USD, i would guess, of some average/good weed, should get you about 3 or 4 grams but i dun live in the states so i dunno. no idea about your last question but i doubt it.

I've been buying for about 5 years from all different people and have never once gotten anything laced. Think about it like this someone isnt gonna spend more money lacing their weed to lose profits. Like the previous poster said unless you are pretty much asking for it they wont do it. and heres some different grades of weed to show you the differences: Schwag, which is pretty much on the bottom rung of pot doesnt have a really strong pot smell to it, has alot of seeds and just doesnt look that pretty. The smoking experience is so so, it will get you high but its just not as good as the better stuff. Here is some schwag: Then theres mids. Now this is where things get tricky. Mids vary so much basically you want to look for more crystals on the buds, a more distinct stronger pot smell, and its pretty rare to find a seed. The smoking experience is noticeably better than schwag. The mids I get around here are referred to as beasters. They are sort of decieving because they look a little bit better than they really are. Beasters are a pretty commercial pot that comes from canada in really dense nugs. Heres a couple examples of what they look like. Then theres what I call Headies. They are generally some of the nicer nugs you can buy. They for the most part have a very strong smell (usually pretty noticeable through the bag) The bud has defined crystals and very rarely do you ever find a seed. The smoking experience is wonderful both based on the high you receive and the taste of the smoke. Headies are also where you run into strains AKA names for the pot. I usually dont buy into them unless I know who grew the pot and can vouch for it. Heres a picture of some headies I had recently:

Hopefully the ladybug ate and got high off the trichomes . One good rule is to not buy weed with seeds in it. When you go to buy weed, look at the buds a little for seeds. If you don't see any on the outside of the buds, or none in the bottom of the bag, its usually good. Its known for certain that seeds divert a plant from THC production so if you see seeds, it'll be weaker weed. Yeah some dealers might de-seed the weed before showing it to you. In that case you'll just have to try some to see how it smokes. I also add 1 more category to skierdood's. Dank. On my scale it goes schwag-mids-dank-headies. I only call weed headies if I know the strain. If it looks good, smells good, tastes good, has no seeds, but it has no name I just say its dank. Weed that has a good amount of seeds in it, but its not hard-packed "brick weed" I call it mids. If its really seedy, dry, and hard-packed its schwag.
Finding a ladybug in your sack is actually a very good thing most likely. It probably means that the grower was using natural defenses against aphids (aka: spider mites) instead of chemicals. Ladybugs eat aphids and won't hurt the weed in any way, so smart organic growers use them to control the aphid population and still have happy, healthy, and organic weed. Off topic I know, but I just wanted to throw in my 2cents on the ladybug.
i've never bought weed laced with harder drugs. the only things i come across here are kids spraying their shit with scented sprays so it smells better. other than that, dealers wont waste their money to lace your weed unless you ask for it.
