So, 14 views; 1 Union member; 1 voted Not, 13 implied Not.

It looks like someone is winning Reagan's war against the middle class.

nope... but I have at one point.

Unions are good to a degree. Although I don't like the fact that often there's one person still making all the decisions for the rest of the union.

I used to belong to a couple of unions, I even instigated membership of some co-workers into a union once at a company I worked for. The bosses found out and said "If you unionise the labour here, we will close the business"

Here in my part of California it's funny all of our union mill jobs have been closed, in fact the mills and their machinery have been sold overseas. But our support positions in our county government have gone union, but they all belong to the same union that motel maids and waiters belong to. Even though they perform services outside of that scope. Funny that our government workers now belong to the same unions that protect illegal aliens.

I am Union friendly. My employer is a "talk about it and we'll fire you" sort.

The union bosses are all so undereducated in the UK that they make a monkeys tea party look like a meeting of mensa. The prominent one these days is the rail union and its leader is a chump !
