i think many people in this forum care too much about not labeling and they try to make a point of it in many of there posts over and over lables arnt a bad thing...like: im: male- label 16- label an enviromentalist-label
I heard a speaker once who was quoting Maya Angelou and it really made me okay with labels. It helps me identify some of the things that are important to me, but I'm also okay with changing who I am if it suits me. I am A Woman A Lesbian A Mother A Daughter A Feminist An Activist A Spiritual Person A member of a 12 step program A Soon to be Student Who are you today? Namaste
its human nature to label. even "dog" "cat" "fish" "human" are labels. i think people should get over it. its never going to end. try to downsize stereotyping instead.
I am a hippie A daughter/niece/sister/granddaughter/friend Child of God Child of nature Animal activist Female Freak walking down the street wearing a rainbow dress with a purple sarong as a cape/poncho Lesbian I am who I am. I do not like labels if they hold someone back/down, but it just makes it easier to describe someone or something. I think as long as you're looking PAST the labels as well, there's no problem
ill just reply with my labels for myself I am: a male(obviously) a 16 year old(once again obviously) a loser(very obvious) an activist an anarchist and im turning into quite the deadhead(i love grateful dead now, thanks Blake) theres more i guess, those just came off the top of my head. but above all I'm a Chuck
what's so confusing? she's a lesbian, a mother, and she's asking who you are. I thought it was really easy to figure out
You have/had the beanie. I don't have to know you to know you try too hard. You don't have a clue as to what facist means, do you?
Well, Fascism, actually, was a form of government in Italy, adopted by Benito Mousalinni, which pretty much was based on deviding Italy into provinces.
