hey guys.. im just a little curious about kratom. from what i gathered, its pretty weak stuff. am i right in assuming so? i have a fairly high tolerance i would say. like 160 mg of oxy to even feel a slight buzz. so i guess my question is, if i were to try this stuff out, would i even be able to catch a buzz with my tolerance? or would it just be a complete waste of money? also, would combining it with my other opiates benifit me in any way? i think i read that the two would just be competing for my receptors and then just cancel out each others effects.
I use kratom fairly regularly (I switch back and forth between it and "real" opiates in hopes to keep my tolerance low). It definitely packs a punch, but I'm not sure what kind of effect it would have one someone with your tolerance. It olny takes 20mg Oxy to nod me out, and kratom produces a nice, strong buzz. There problem with kratom is that there's sort of a limit. Eat too much, and you just puke it up.
No dude, you wont get anything from kratom. Ive heard people with less tolerance say they get zero effects from it. Even short term binges on opiates made it virtually useless for me.
As topher said, Erowid is your friend. However, I will answer with, yes it's a plant, and yes it's legal in the states.
And I have to say, that sort of sucks for the OP. When you have no tolerance Kratom really is a great experience on it's own, very muck like but not the same as an opi.
When I didn't even have a noticeable tolerance that stuff didn't do SHIT for me. It'll do absolutely nothing for you, sorry.
alright cool. thanks for the info. i think regardless of tolerance, its going to effect everybody differently. as would any drug. but i'll take your word for and just avoid wasting my money. maybe someday when i come off the drugs, i'll give the stuff a try.
