This is a stash-buster for sure...
I saw a pattern for an awesome sweater coat in a 70's craft book...this is my interpretation...
It's heavy as hell... It's knitted on 15mm needles with 5 strands held together. I changed the colours one at a time. It reminds me of an impressionist painting...:D

Sadly, I think I will be frogging it and starting over.... I'd like to tweak the design a bit, and the hood makes me look like E.T. haha
My cat thinks it makes a great cat bed, though...

Oh my god that effin rocks. Dude, you did a great job. You should sale it on ebay if you dont like it. (or give it to me..hahah) I have a q, (if its okay) Im new to knitting and i can't get my cast on right. I'm ok at purling and the knit stiches and everything, but the cast on is bummin me out man. Its like my ball end of my yard keeps staying to the left side of my needle instead of the right. Any advice?

that is sooooo awesome! And with the 5 strands, i bet its super warm! No wonder your cat loves it... its probably like sleeping in a yarn basket! hahah. Totally see if you can sell this one, and then use the money you get to buy the yarn for one for you with the tweaked pattern!

    Thanks...:D

Hmm...sounds like you are somehow casting on backwards... I found some good pictures that demonstrate how to cast on...
