Story time! :'D This morning, my pregnant kitty cat crawled into bed with me and curled up around my feet. After an hour or so, she started moving around a lot and i began to feel something wet. I pulled with blankets off and bam!! i see half of a golden brown kitten crawling out of her lady business. Now, i'm in the process of helping her give birth! She's already had three. this is a completely new experience for me and i'm just so happy. c: it feels nice helping bring new lives into this world!
Having Lived On A Farm All My Life I Have Asisted In The Birth Of Lots Of Animals, But So Far No Cats, I Never Cease To Be Amazed When I See A Newborn Enter This World, It Gives Me Such A Warm Glow Within... Cheers Glen.
yeah, the afterbirth part is a little strange. especially when it's in your bed. o.o but it is extraordinary helping them come into the world. in my opinion, anyway. Glen, you seem to have so much experience with this and i'm such a newbie. xD i almost started to panick when it first happened.
Over The Years I Have Assisted The Delivery Of Many Hundreds Of Lambs, Many Requiring The Arm Up The Ewe's Private Bits When A Birth Has A Lamb With The Legs Wrongly Positioned Or Otherwise Needs To Be Repositioned In The Mother *breech birth*, "After Birth" Is Something You Wash Off In The Shower When You Get Home.... And suddenly I understand how my cat had 3 little babies in the bathroom in the middle of the night and it was so remarkably...clean in there when we discovered them first thing in the morning. Ah, nature. So disgustingly beautiful.
