Do you think you could do it? I dont mean running up in your work/school with an AK47.... but if someone tried to kill you, or pulled a gun on you and kidnapped you, or killed/seriously harmed/threatened someone in your family, and you had the chance to grab their gun or something and end them right there...could you? Do you think you should have the right to kill someone in certain situations or do you think murder is wrong no matter what the situation.
I like to think I could. I'm an insanely loving person and generally against killing in 99% of situations. However, if someone is, god forbid, doing something unthinkable to someone I love or myself I would like to think I could protect us (or me..) I'm not exactly the strongest person in the world.. but I would try to fight back with all I could. Although of course my first thoughts on someone doing something awful to a loved one would resort to me wanting to end their life.. maybe I could just harm them enough to get away? But really, I think this is all the kind of thing that comes down to in the moment. I sure as hell hope I never have to find out what I would really do!! Ohhh and as to if I think people have the right to.. Well, heck yeah. We have the right to defend ourselves! If someone is trying to kill someone than of course you should have the right to fight back.. It'd be pretty ridiculous if ya didn't. If someone's holding a gun at my head and I happen to have a gun as well I certainly should have the right to try to shoot them too!

Dont think I would have much of a problem in a self defence or defending a loved one situation. But as far as just going out and killing for the hell of it, definitly not. Life is very precious and must be treated with respect.
when i was 18 i was jumped by 4 guys... they set me up to do a crooked deal when they were fiending for some coke late at night. they beat me up a bit, but then they got my backpack off and i popped up off the ground with my knife coming out of my pocket. and i nearly killed two of them. the tip of the blade even broke off inside one of them. i was so freaked out and it was the worst feeling ever because i didn't know if i killed them. but i was defending myself so it was justified, but it still feels really horrible to take a life. thats something more valuable than anything, life. --- so yeah, ive been in situations like that a hand full of times. i've got that killer instinct when it comes to self-defense. but really it isn't good for the soul to draw blood of another human.
out of self defense, yes. i imagine the instincts and adrenaline kick in and you do what you gotta do. i have been sexually assaulted before and i did fight my way out and left, so yeah
idk if i'd kill someone. i'd just hurt them badly enough to where I could escape safely. No need to kill someone when you could achieve the same result without death involved...
Hell yes I'd skin a fool with a toothpick in a heartbeat for trying to seriously hurt me or mine, probably wear his teeth on a necklace if it wasn't for the freaking DNA evidence. I really wonder what this society is coming to when I see people actually have to stop and freaking think about this.
Absolutely. if the opportunity presented itself to maim or kill someone who was threatening/ attacking me, mine, or another innocent i would take it. im not saying i would shoot a purse snatcher, but a rapist is fairly easy to identify if you come across them in the act. its about making sound decisions. if i shoot the purse snatcher and find out the poor guy was trying to buy food for his kids im gonna feel shitty. didnt deserve to get shot for stealing replaceable items. but the rapist? id do time if i had to, having made a sound decision in the first place, and feel that i have bettered the world in some small way. the problems arise with the issue of judgment. who has a right to judge? who has the right to take a life? most people abide by basic morals and rules, but not everyone does. my morals are not your morals, even if they are similar. most people are so worried about what other people think (including the law) that they no longer make choices that they can live with, but what they think others will approve of. Society, its so much fun.
If i was about to die.. but the circumstances turned into my favor that i could kill them... well... then i would torture their ass... tie them to a chair.. pour gasoline on them.. and light their ass on fire..
And if you had the chance, dose them with a high dose of LSD first. haha Physically torturing someone while they're trippin sack would be fuckin raw
in a fuckin heartbeat. killing is never really justified in my opinion though, but i would still do it to save a loved one..im not too sure if i would try and save myself, depends on the situation. im too curious about whats on the other side i feel ..
^^^Killing is definitely justified, in some situations. Even if nobody's life was in danger, killing can still be justified, in my eyes. Some people just don't deserve to live, as far as I'm concerned.
i dont know man, in a way youre right, but when i break it all down in my mind and really think about it, no person has the right to take life away from someone/something else.
