Did anyone else like it or am i the only one? I thought it was going to be crap but it turned out to be excellent...i rather like tarantino, but then, why do some many people dislike the guy? i think he's a genius
I think because he nicks a lot of ideas from older movies. Can't bother me though, he does it perfect. I think the Kill Bill movies are my favourites of him, and I'm not always fond on that over the top stuff.
iv seen the first one and half of the second... i enjoyed watching them, btu im getting sick of movies like those. theres always the cool fight moves, the explosions, things snapping in half... its getting boring. there isnt enouhg diversity in action films, btu its hard because theres only one type of action i guess...
your a fucking idiot, tarantino was making an homage to 70s kung fu flicks, which is why the movie was the way it was (and in my opinion, bad) yea i didnt like the first one, i was expecting too much, everyone said itd be gory but it wasnt.
it was visually appealing, but the emotion of the 2nd one (when she has to get out of that box) was surprising to me at that time.
They're Good. Wished I'd watched Vol 2 first... ~~~~ Didn't he direct/produce the season finale for a series last year or the year before? CSI... the Good one... Nevada?
That is correct. I think it was a 2 part episode, or a long one maybe? Kill Bill Vol 1, was fairly decent. Had some interesting parts and an abundance of sword fighting, which I really love to see. Kill Bill Vol 2, on the the other hand, was severely lacking and and rather ridiculous. It also goes down in history for the crappiest, lamest, most boring ending to any action movie ever. The final scene with her and Bill should've been the best scene of the two movies considering they were trained by Pai Mei. And the five point exploding heart shit....... fuck that movie.
i thought they were both lame, and unoriginal, and if that was the point, why would anyone want to watch them? i mean old kung fu movies are cool, but come on everyone knows they suck. Making a movie to be like them now when movies have the ability to go above and beyond is not a good idea in my opinion. these movies were as bad as they were boring and dated.
i really liked the first one and the scene in the snow is amazing, but the second one has the most ridiculous/melodramatic ending ever.
I enjoyed both movies including the nostalgia laden opening credits with the Shaw Brothers symbol (I own every Shaw Brothers Martial Arts movie on DVD) and the movie theatre trailer (very 70s) and of course the song Bang, bang. Also the Yakuza's Crazy 88s are pretty cool Hotwater
