Kids scream out the darndest things for everyone to hear...

So I was playing baseball for the first time in several years, so my husband's team didn't have to forfeit due to not enough females on the co-ed team.

We had to take the kids with us, and while I am out at second base, out runs Nathan (he's 5)... we stop the game and his grandpa had to chase him and drag him off the field kicking and screaming.

He was trying to get out to see me...so he is screaming through the fence, "What is she doing out there?! She DOESN'T PLAY baseball!!!!" Both teams laughed...my secret is out now. I suck at baseball.

my little brother used to say the craziest things. we lost him in a mall one day and he was crying looking for mum anywhere... he was sitting talking with another family, happy as can be.

 

I did dive for a grounder, it hit my glove and bounced off my forearm...OWW.
I also got a hit (it was lob ball which is hard to hit) and almost made it to first... but I did get a runner in from third...

 

do you follow any baseball teams? i actually love baseball, I know, it ruins people's impression of me when I say that. many would prefer I just kept quiet about it?

I hear there is even a baseball team in Canada

 

I don't really follow it, but if I wasn't so rusty, I would enjoy playing.
