Man. does anyone remember when it wasnt called KFC, and by order of the colonel himself, any hungry person that went into Kentucky Fried Chicken and didnt have any cash, Kentucky Fried Chicken would GIVE them food for free. does anyone else remember this? I was traveling with a large caravan of hippies in 96 and we went into the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Oklahoma or something and told them we were hungry and they hooked us up so so so fat. bags and bags of free chicken, biscuits, mashed potatos, corn everything. it was awesome. someone told me the colonel's granddaughter was a deadhead and because of her, he hooked people up. but now that they arent Kentucky Fried Chicken, and they dont use the original colonel it seems they are no so kynd. bummer.
