I found this great lime colored yarn last night and wanted to make something kind of funky. My autumn coat has kind of a big neck on it and it's not really the warmest so I made this to fit inside the neck of my coat and keep me nice and cozy. Plus, I got to try out some cable stitches that I've been learning. The yarn is Bernat Handycrafter Cotton and I made the buttons out of sculpty clay. Here's a close up on the cabling and picot edging: Here's a pic of another cabling technique that I'm learning as well:
Great job! i have been trying to get around to making some neck warmers too! I have a bunch of custom orders to fill first! If I could have two extra hands!!
