I hear everyone on hear saying vote for Kerry. I was just wondering what exactly is Kerry's platform? All I hear Kerry talking about is how he is not Bush. That's a fantastic platform, look what it got Gore. Kerry would probably win if this was an election for class president. But it's not a popularity contest. So as before I will be voting for Bush. Because he truly is the lesser of two evils. I hate paying taxes, and yes the war was a good thing. And let's keep guns, and ban abortion.
If you do not own stock, or are in the wealthiest 1% of earners in this country, odds are your taxes went up. See, just because bush gives out money on a federal level (and sends the nat. debt soring) doesn't mean that on a state level taxes go down, quite the opposite. States are used to recieving federal money, but because of th e deficiet they aren't recieving as much, this means that the state and local governments have to raise their taxes, usually in the form of payroll taxes, income taxes etc.... The tax burden doesn't magically disappear when you cut taxes for the wealthy, it just shifts it to the middle and lower classes (where, odds are, you are.) Second, Kerry wants to replace 40,000 u.s. troops with international forces in Iraq. And i know that you're thinking "THOSE U.N. PUSSIES WON'T SEND IN ANY NOW, WHY SHOULD THEY FOR KERRY." well, i'll tell you. Kerry didn't lie to U.N. and Kerry has a less "YEEEHAW" attitude for foreign relations. I think the world would be more sympathetic for the man stuck holding the bag than the robber himself. And thirdly, kerry doesn't want to take your guns, you're from PA, so maybe you've seen that NRA telemerical, but trust me, they are lying distorting sacks of shit and you should not believe a word of that thing.
Kerry is a hunter himself. He wouldn't want to ban guns. Stupid NRA. Really, guns should not be an issue this year. It's all just smoke screens in front of the real issues. Same with either candidates war/lack of war service.
Ok so what about abortion? I don't think people should have that right. Who are we to kill a living human being. I know I'm not God and I don't think Kerry is. That's why there is adoption.
Are you aware of the claims that Bush had an abortion arranged for his girlfriend back in the 70's? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnew...-ABORTION-CLAIM-HITS-PRESIDENT-name_page.html I can't say if it's true or not, but typical of these types. (Honestly, I don't even care if it's true beyond the president being a major hippocrate if it is true.) They have standards for people that they do not hold themselves to. I hate to bring up the cliche, but look at Limbaugh for a recent example. But anyway, there is no one who can tell you which issues are important to you, and which issues you should base your vote on. To me, abortion is a valid issue (even though my stance and yours may be opposite). Have you learned about any other presidential candidates besides the two major parties? You may find one you like that isn't an "evil" to you at all. Below is a link for the list of the presidential and VP candidates for this election. It links to some basic information about them as well. http://www.vote-smart.org/election_president_party.php?party_name=All
The republicans have had control of the government for two years now, and they haven't outlawed abortion, do you think that this is Bush's highest priority? And don't you want the government off your backs? I always hear that from those speed freaks you guys call on talk radio, get government off our backs. But in our wimin folks uterus' are allright, and my gay neighbor's ass, but backs! that's too far.....
Right, how about the shotgun given to him by Union leaders? You know, the one that would be banned if the legislation he co-sponsored is passed. Kerry is no hunter, he is a poser.
If he's gonna co-sponsor a bill that would ban a weapon used for hunting (a semi-automatic), what kind of hunter does that make him? He wants to ban a gun that people all across this great nation use to hunt common game on a regular basis. No hunter, in his right mind, would even consider #1 banning semi-automatic shotguns and #2 never vote for a gun grabber like Kerry. It only makes sense.
You forgot to mention "In my opinion" at the end of your post. My father is a hunter, also collects guns, but doesn't use a semi-automatic when hunting.
Sera my forehead is really starting to hurt. I made one search on google. http://http://www.drudgereport.com/dncg.htm http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040907/nytu290_1.html?printer=1 http://http://www.washingtontimes.com/op-ed/20040915-090156-4833r.htm http://http://www.cnsnews.com/Culture/archive/200409/CUL20040907a.html http://http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/02/25/politics/main602127.shtml Gun owners and avid hunters in their right mind will not support John Kerry this fall, it only makes sense. Oh and semi-automatics are commonly used for hunting, look at the drudge link, Kerry is waving one around.
