WHY???? why not let the rest of the votes be counted? i don't know if i'm ready to except this...and move on to the work to be done.

OK, it just hit the radio. Can't say it comes as a surprise. Typical gutless move from a typical politician. Even before all the votes are counted, he'll bend over and take it up the ass in the name of "national unity" or whatever. This asshole has proven himself even worse than Al Gore, who at least FOUGHT for a few weeks before bending over..... Anyone care to lecture me anymore about what a great fighting reformer Kerry is? Well, at least you "blue-dog Dems" can't pass the blame off on Nader this time around. Your guy folded like a house of cards all on his pathetic own.....
I disagree Ellis, for one thing Gore won the popular vote last time, Kerry did not. Besides, there was really no way he could win Ohio with the provisional ballots, there was a much bigger magin of victory for Bush in Ohio this year, than he had over Gore in Florida last year...without the corruption that existed last time.
At least it wont be all long and drawn out though. I worry about the message we are sending the world. We obviously have no intention, as a country, of being diplomatic.
But as we speak, stories about various GOP "dirty tricks" are coming out concerning Florida, Ohio, and New Mexico. The exact number of OH provisional ballots hasn't even been DETERMINED yet, so they very well might have been enough to turn the state.
Yeah..it would have been really nice if the dems had at least questioned the obvious voting discrepencies that had been happening all over the friggin country.....but NO they acted typical Bush ..."der, america good, bush good, war good, everybody happy now" agh.
Well I wish he would continue the fight, but I guess I can see why he won't. I think the most legit complaint I've heard yet here in Ohio is that there was a very low number of voting machines in each precinct. I was talking to a worker at my voting place yesterday and he was saying that he has worked in this precinct for 12 years and there have always been 5 voting machines, no wait. This year there were 3 and hours of waiting...I saw many people leave because they had to be at work, or they were very elderly. The worker seemed very angry and stated that we should all complain to the board of elections....when i got home i found out that the same was happening all over the state. All of this does go against what Edwards said last night...that they were committed to count every vote.
Bush is an idiot for being an idiot. Kerry is an idiot for conceding. does this mean if the votes are counted and kerry wins he does not win?
The s.o.b. had a chance. Why did he give up? Get Ready for higher taxes, and loss of more jobs. Canada here I come...
