I say just fucking do it, live and learn from the entire experience. Although I may be biased as this is how I pretty much rule my life. The peeps that bring the entire idea down are the same dudes that will be sitting at home bored while your travelling on a psychedelic painted bus with like minded friends and having what may turn out to be the experience of your life. Commit.. I would if I lived in America
I agree. I mean of course we'll have the route, money, gas, destinations, bus expenses, getting people together, etc. But after all of that's out of the way then it'll be awesome. But as ziggy said, the people who are gonna be on that bus are gonna be the same people we meet here on the forums. Maybe better, maybe worse. And plus this could also be something great to learn from. The good, the bad times, and everything in between. I've been on more than a few ''hippie'' road trips with various people in my life and the worst thing I can remember was the summer of '09 when we got a flat tire in a late 1970's VW van. And they took nothing but a fix-up. But what I'm trying to say is that things can still be fun and great. Just do the work that makes the trip possible first.
Don't hijack the thread, dude. Even if it's a joke, you really pissed mizzymorrison off. I doubt anyone going is into the hard, addictive drugs like the ones you described. Herb and psychedelics only! And it's not even about that. It's essentially about like-minded people coming together, doing something, building friendships, traveling to see new places and sharing common interests. Right on! :2thumbsup:
i would totally do it, seeing new places with a bunch of hippies sounds like a blast haha would you just go and pick up random people?
those who are planning this have all been emailing each other i guess we forget to check back on this thread haha my boyfriend, friend, and i are all planning on going. hope this happens
I love how dedicated people are towards making this happen, and still keeping this thread going. I've got a friend who's interested as well. Definitely NOT going to let this die.
Hey, whats everybody up to? I hope your still planning on making this trip happen, if all goes well I should have my bus this summer, but I am unsure if I will have it ready to trip this year or next. Most likely the latter. Hope everybody is doin fine and lookin forward to a journey!
Dude, that's AWESOME! My life is looking really directionless right now, and this would be the PERFECT opportunity to meet people my age with similar interests and feel like I'm moving forward. Let's keep this thread alive. I hope people who post on here are as serious about this as I am. Don't let apathy set in!
