That's right, morons. You all are getting a fabulous update on my life whether you like it or not. I am volunteering at a rehabilitation hospital (physical, not drugs) here is SA on my winter break (I don't go back till the 22). I'm learning how to draw blood, and I drew my first patient (successfully, that is) on Friday. I've drawn about a dozen more people since then. It's easy when you can find a vein, but I still need more practice in the location department. I'm not getting paid now, but the clinical experience should open up some doors for a job when I get back to SF. I draw for two hours starting at 6 a.m. and then I work in other areas of the hospital. I've worked in respitory and now I'm working in radiology. The MT for radiology is really cool--I've got some interesting stories on the things that show up on X-rays . So, who wants to be my first cyber-patient? **pulls out the turniquet**
