Yeah, he's not bad. I'm thinking of getting his new album... But I'm still unsure, his sound can just become to lame for me sometimes..

I like Kanye West but I've only heard his singles-I don't buy as many cds these days I basically use my napster subscription as a filter-I'll look up an album and listen to the whole thing before buying it or purchasing single songs. Saves me from having to feel disappointed, I've been burned in the past. I'll check out Kanye's new cd-I actually never really thought about buying his album but anybody that is likened to Tupac must be worth a listen.
Just to be clear, I wouldn't liken him to tupac in the way of content, but in the way of honesty and realness. Nobody can say that Kanye is trying to be something that he's not just so he can sell records. In this way, I would also liken will smith to tupac, but that doesn't mean I like will smith's music all that much, it just means he makes music that he likes to make, regardless of what other people think. If you like kanye's singles, you will almost definitely like his other songs, because all of his songs are honest and real. Sorry to rant.
How did I miss this thread? Kanye West is fucken awesome. I listen to his new album every chance I get. And when I saw awesome, I mean as an artist and person.
True. He's one of the few remaining hip-hop "artists". Others, like 50-Cent and people like that, just make music to make money. But kanye actually loves music.
Kanye West is def another fav of mine. I keep finding one thing I like then I go on and find more and more. hes excellent.
i've heard only the songs that he has had on the radio and tv, and i've kind of grown to really like his beats. i've just never been a fan of rapping, but i just love good hip-hop beats...maybe i'll download some of his stuff
I like the music and his rhymes, but I really wish he'd shut up about politics. He makes Whoopi Goldberg look like a political science major.
haha Im listenin to his Jesus Walks song right now.. I like pretty much everything I have heard by him. His songs, unlike a lot of modern day rap, actually have some meaning and substance.
