We focus on raising awareness, promoting education, and creating discussion in our local communities. Last year we unvieled an enormous, beautiful quilt inspired by the AIDS quilt and created by women from every state in the US. We have begun creating panels for victims of the "drug war" and groups and friends of the cause. I don't need to preach about the benefits of marijuana and hemp judging by the popularity of this forum topic. I'd just like to say that, what ever your reasons are for wanting legalization its important to stand united and speak up. Rally like this need support and they need people. If you can't be there in body, join a group. Write letters, network. Hell, make a quilt square. Don't just get high and lay on the couch. Activism requires action! Exciting things are happening on the marijuana front and the sooner people ACT the sooner the goal can be achieved. Thanks.
