yes they look sexy, yes they make long hair look less little girlish and seem conceptually perfect for those of us who had bangs as kids but want to forgo the blunt five year old across your forhead look as adults... but damn they keep falling in my freaking eyes, which I guess is what they are suppossed to do but i think my sidebangs will lose there sex appeal as soon when I fall on my ass from them blinding me. side bangs help please!!! I am going to clip them back for the next few days for a speaking engagement but what can I do afterwards to look hot but not like an ungroomed muppet? I would really appreciatte any help from those who have experience similar side bang issues. thanks a bunch!!!
I sswear I'm ready to rip them out of my head all at once I can't not stand hair on my face and they fall out of my freaking pony tail...I can't find any releif from these things it's driving me mad!!!!!!!! help please!!!
do you have any of those little snappy clips? Or some nice bobbypins/hair clips. Just tuck them behind your ear and pin the worst of it in place just behind the ear, so most of the clip is hidden (that's why I've never gotten side bangs, I can't -stand- having hair in my face when I'm at work, drives me batty)

what are side bangs? If they are what I think they are, just clip them back until they grow out, if you want long hair. Or just get a short all over cut instead. Or you could french braid your hair with lots of hair gel and glue them back with the other hair.
this is the picture I took in and this is what I got and I now know why she grew hers out hah. they've kinda chilled out and are long enough to tuck most of them behind my ear now...but yeah never again I'm grown them out
yeah, that's kinda what I figured. Why in the world would someone choose to have their hair cut to look like bangs in that akward growing out stage? That's always what I hated the most about having bangs, growing them out and having them at that in between not bangs anymore but not long enough to do anything with them point. LOL Hairbows, bobby pins, or gel... whatever it takes to get them out of your face. You could even go for that apple pie girl next door look, tie a ribbon in your hair to hold it back. ...or better yet, for a good laugh, you could use a round brush, hot rollers, and lots of hairspray and go for that 80's mall hair look!! *snort* (I'll see if I can find a picture of me in 1983... LOL)
hah I miss the big hair days...I was really young int he eighties but if I got a really good report card I got to go to school looking like a clubbing 20 something when I was a kid hah I actually wore a bow in my hair today my mom was cracking up because I left the house in a light blue pleated knee length skirt, a white button up shit with a navy v neck company logo sweater with a nazy bow in my hair...we have to wear uniforms in public schools 1-8th out here and I had to when i went to private so my mom was just like...wait you bitched about he uniform for 10 years and now you're wearing almost the same thing hah but yeah it got everything in it that the pny tail couldn't

alright I love my side bangs now. I stepped into my stylist's shop today and she showed me a trick that took literally two minutes...style them as if I'm wearign them on the other side and then just flip them over...I am soooooooo happy with them now though
get the bangs layered so they actually fall where long ones would, but they dont cover your eyes. i get my side bangs cut specially so they arent just 'sideswept' but actually are cut to fall to the side. if you go that route, just make sure they are wispy and cut with those razor scizzors so they are a bit uneven. otherwise, you will look like a punk rocker trying to rebel... lol NOT GOOD. good luck with it let me know what you decide!
I can so tell you're from cali too hah!!!!! They're layered and razor cuts are actually horrible for your hair they cause the ends to split instantly...even though they look uber stylish. I just had to get used to them...I have the paper coming out to take pics and interview me on tuesday so on sunday I'm getting lowlights and botox (nice combo eh?) and will have them cut my side bangs at more of a slant so I look more professional and less like I'm ready to go clubbing hah
I have a bob-style haircut and keep mine at about eyebrow length. It looks fine and doesn't bother my eyes, but I have to keep them trimmed.
A cheaper/faster way to get/keep'em is going outside in the wind hair down lit cig in mouth w/equal Time facing up/downwind. Don't ask... *L*
