HI Everybody I was in the hippy culture during the sixites ( yes, they were they good old days ). I had a sad thing happen to me, I graduated from college and actually took a job ! I went overseas and lived for years and now I am retired and back in the culture. I have left my two homes in Ms. which I still own ( wish I could start a commune up there ) and now live in my Rv. I ride my biccyle every where I go. I love to play chess and my best frined is my dog Catfish who is convinced he is not a dog. I am enjoying life again ! I think early retirement was the best thing I have ever done, I got out of the rat race and have never looked back to see who was winning the race and don't care. To The Hip Forums Hey there Southernhermit; Allow me extend the welcome mat….I know what it’s like to be a newcomer….You don’t really know what to say or how to act…. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed….When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet…. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol….
