Just got out of juvie

I am only 14.I went to juvenile hall for shooting my dad with a bbgun. The cops were nice then when they put the cuffs on my they started saying " you know you shouldn't have fucking done it" and they called me retard when i was going to the cop car and when I was in the cop car. Then a guard at the juvenile holding cell started taking cheap shots at me with mean jokes. Then i was in a cell waiting to go to court I was leaning my hand on a door and the guard smacked me and said I know I should be doing that shit and he told me to get off of the fucking door. I say it was a bad experience but I didn't cry.

 

Good thing it was a BB gun and not the real thing or your juvenile days would be over and they’d charge you as an adult.

I can almost picture you now in adult prison with a sign taped to your lower-back which reads “Keep Out, Private Property, this belongs to Bubba”

He had me in the corner threatening me with a crowbar and he was swinging it at me. After i shot him he hit my bbgun with the crowbar and i got scared and hit him in the head and then he started gushing blood.

 

What happens to you now?
Is this the first time something like this has happened?

I respect your right to, but not your choice to, make a joke at every opportunity.

 

They sound like sadists kid, i wouldn't take it as a reflection of who you are. Now i am not going to say what you did was right, that's for you to think about, you know the context and reasons more than anyone and you have to find your own values anyway.

But what i will say, is that even though it's not exactly the officers job to be your best friend, it sounds like they were being assholes and not at all professional. But what people say have a strong impact on what one thinks about themselves, so don't be ashamed if it did hurt your feelings, but also be careful who you talk to, not everyone gives a shit unfortunately.

 

Given his age I’m sure the cops were only trying to scare him straight, as was I.

I said "how nice of you and the cops" sarcastically, because hotwater made the claim they were both trying to help the young man.

As i already claimed, the officers job is not to be his friend, I was merely disputing hotwaters claim they were trying to help him some how psychologically .

Second of all, it was Juvie not jail, which is slightly different, second we're talking about a domestic dispute in which we don't know all the details, nor did the cops by the sounds of it.

My point really is, the police didnt have to say shit to him, make jokes or any of that crap as a part of their job, they just wanted to because, that's what assholes like to do to kids i suppose. And i don't buy the whole "he deserves it" or "it will help him" bullshit.
