LaVey's a pretty funny guy. It's mostly Ayn Rand explained with the devil as a metaphor.

You guys do realized, like lode said, he only used the devil as a metaphor for basic human pleasure and instinct that defied Judaeo-Christian beliefs. He didn't worship anything except maybe food.
