is there any difference between the French they speak in France, and the French that is spoken in Quebec? I'm curious, because I'm trying to learn so I can visit Quebec someday, and I want to know if I should learn from a certain source or something.
the accent. the french spoken in quebec is close to the one spoken in 17th century's region of brittany and vendea. it contains, regarding to the "french from france", lots of archaism and no englicisms at all. it's better french actually, more pure than the one in france, that evolves constantly.
lol are you crazy... French is generally very poor in quebec. People here will say like hey check ca, ma te montrer quecchose avant que tu punch ton shift...or Jmen va macheter des smokes chez ldepanneur We speak like LUMBERJACKS You guys speak french so much better, osti de calisse
to add to that ...francois mitterand once asked bouchard ,who at the time was premier of quebec.what kind of patois was spoken in quebec ...bouchard was pissed ...lol............i heard jean alesi (former formula one driver ) ask one of his team mates the same thing ..quebecer will have an easier time in understanding a parisian because of the exposure to the accents through the media
wé, peut être... mais je peux te dire, wesh gro, pâ sûr kçé ben vrai cke tu dit, ça se peut ben ke les mec qui savent parler et bah ils parlent comme jte l'exprime. et ici, mec , c'est la même.
