Judge a book by its cover

No quotes, opinions or explanations; here we judge books other members are reading by their covers alone.

 

Seal's world looks magical, because it has magic seals, but the boy on the second book looks like he loves ham.

 

Looks to me like very old and well read book.

 

By the way we don't have to actually make judgements, it was just a way of phrasing it. But also, making vocal judgements is fine too, and interesting potentially : )

A great deal of books pass through my ownership are secondhand, hence old and well read.

Pleeehhhh! Yes that's a damn good cover, eggsprog. Painted by an exceptional girl who I am lucky to know.

But I'm so over that story. The next ones will be better.

 

Not a photo of my actual book, because I'm reading it as an ebook right now (although I do also have a hard copy). Re-reading the series for the 3rd or 4th time.

 

I finished this one a couple of weeks ago, I realized it has a bunch of cool covers as I was doing an image search. The first one is the cover of the book I own

 

Well now; that, I want to read.

You should! I guess I wont go too into detail about it because that's not the purpose of the thread, but I will say I've never read another book like it and I highly recommend it
