Retirement will be in my life sooner than I think and I would like to consider my options. I live in CA and realize it's not the most affordable state in the union. I do like being around progressive politics though. I'm giving thought to a relocation. Someone had suggested a 'community' in NC but it looked a little to rugged and out-doorsy for me. There was also mention of a GLBT+++ community outside Portland, OR. Does anyone know of places that are more metropolitan that are gay exclusive?
