Joined to find a Community! :)

Hello all!!

I just joined hip forums because my husband and I are looking for a community to join with our two beautiful daughters who are 5 and 2 years old. We currently live in Minnesota, and would like to stay close, but I've been interested in Wisconsin as well and if we found the right group of people, I'm sure we could be persuaded to venture further.

Ideally we would love to be on a nice big chunk of land with 2-5 other families growing our own food, creating our own energy, and making our own little chunk of paradise in this wack-a-doodle world. Self-sustainability is very important to us.

Our long-term goal was to create this paradise ourselves and invite other like-minded people to join us, but that will take time and if there is anyone out there that already has the land and just needs motivated people to join them, we figured... why wait??
