Speaking from experience inside the army. I can honestly say it's not bad.

My cousin used to say stuff like "I don't want to go to a foreign country unless I'm killing people" when he joined the marines, of course he probably thought he was in a different country just leaving the south at the time.

 

Fuck em. If they want to know my feelings on the army they could find them on this site somewhere, usually followed by 3 or 4 idiots flaming me.

I'll at least say that for some people it's better than what lays in store for them if they get stuck in a rut after highschool.
