After watching the coverage of him spilling over cans in the supermarket, looking confused when asking his positions, and going to eat at a glorified wienerschnitzel while Obama was in Germany, I'm fairly certain McCains trying to tie up the pity vote.

I find it somewhat impressive. He was enough of a hardass to refuse to be released because it was out of the militarys order of releasing prisoners because he was an Admirals son.

not that I will vote for him, but in many ways its easy to paint him as heroic and more worthy of being president

I have a feeling he is the favorite right now

 

I can see him being painted as heroic.

In no way can I see him painted as being more worthy of being president. I see every political move he makes to the antithesis of what would make this country prosper.

Obama has been given 2 to 1 odds last week actually.

 

Grant was a great general and heroic figure, but was one of the worst presidents in history
